Making High-Quality and Comprehensive Pilates More Accessible Financially

At Recover Wellbeing, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality and comprehensive Pilates, regardless of their financial situation. We understand that in today's challenging economic climate, finding affordable ways to prioritize your health and well-being can be difficult. That's why we are committed to providing a range of options to make Pilates more accessible for everyone.

Private Health Insurance

One of the first avenues to explore is your private health insurance. Many insurance plans offer rebates for Pilates sessions, especially when they are part of a prescribed rehabilitation program. Check with your provider to see if you are eligible for a rebate on your Pilates classes at Recover Wellbeing.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

The NDIS is designed to support Australians with disabilities by providing funding for a range of services, including health and wellness programs like Pilates. If you are an NDIS participant, you may be able to use your funding to cover the cost of your Pilates sessions. Our team is experienced in working with NDIS participants and can help you navigate the process to ensure you receive the support you need.

Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA)

For our veterans, the DVA provides support for a variety of health services. If you hold a DVA card, you may be eligible for fully or partially funded Pilates sessions. This can be a great way to incorporate regular Pilates practice into your routine without worrying about the financial burden.

Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Program

The EPC program allows those with chronic medical conditions to receive Medicare rebates for allied health services, including one on one Pilates/rehab sessions (privates) which fall under Occupational Therapy on your plan. If you qualify, you can receive a certain number of sessions each year that are partially covered by Medicare. Speak to your GP about whether you are eligible for an EPC plan and how you can use it to benefit from our Pilates classes.

Community Classes

Our community classes are designed to be more affordable while still providing the high-quality instruction you expect from Recover Wellbeing. Community classes are taught by student instructors (who are about to sit their exams) and/or by newly graduated instructors seeking more teaching opportunities. All levels are welcome in our semi-private classes on studio equipment. Community classes max out at 3 people instead of 4. These smaller group sessions allow you to enjoy Pilates in a supportive environment, making it an excellent option for those looking to reduce costs without sacrificing the quality of their practice. Head to our timetable and book a community class with Julie on Mondays from 1:30pm - 2:30pm.

Free Cancer Rehab Classes funded by Pinc and Steel Foundation

We are proud to offer free cancer rehab classes funded by Pinc and Steel to support individuals who are undergoing or have completed cancer treatment. These specialized classes are designed to help improve strength, flexibility, and overall well-being during a challenging time. We believe that financial constraints should never be a barrier to accessing the health benefits of Pilates, especially for those recovering from cancer.

Commitment to Accessibility

At Recover Wellbeing, we are dedicated to making Pilates accessible to everyone, regardless of their financial situation. Whether it's through private health insurance, NDIS, DVA, EPC programs, community classes, or free cancer rehab sessions, we strive to provide options that help you prioritize your health without added financial stress.

If you have any questions about these options or need assistance navigating the various programs, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are here to help. Contact us today to learn more about how we can support your journey to better health and well-being through accessible Pilates.

Stay well and keep moving!
